과학기술정보통신부는 최근 '2023년 데이터바우처 지원사업'의 수요기업 최종 선정결과를 발표했다. 이번 선정결과에 따르면, 지역기업이 전체 지원 대상 기업의 40.5%를 차지했으며, 청년기업도 전체 지원규모 중 44%를 차지하는 등, 대한민국 데이터산업에서 개인 및 중소기업, 청년 창업자 등이 안정적이고 지속적인 성장을 이루는 데 큰 기여를 할 것으로 보인다. 이번 데이터바우처 지원사업은 전체 894억 원의 예산을 투입하여 2010건을 지원할 예정이며, 제조(27.1%) 분야가 가장 많았고 기업규모별로는 소상공인(69.6%)이 가장 많았다. 지역별로는 비수도권 기업들이 전년 대비 4.6% 증가한 40.5%(814건)를 차지했다. 즉, 전반적인 인력 확보와 데이터 활용 저변을 확대함으로써, 데이터 분석 및 인공지능 분야 등 다양한 분야에서 새로운 기술과 비즈니스 모델을 창출할 수 있는 데이터산업 생태계 조성에 기여하게 된 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 이번 데이터바우처 지원사업은 우리나라 데이터산업을 선도하는 글로벌 리더로 성장하기 위한 중요한 기반 조성 사업이라고 할 수 있다. 이를 바탕으로 전 산업 분야에서 미래 가능성이 큰 기업들이 등장하며, 새로운 일자리 창출과 경제활동 촉진에도 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

The Korea Climate Technology Center and Network (K-CETN) will be established in Seoul next year, serving as a hub for connecting public and private climate experts in Asia and around the world. K-CETN will also devise and execute climate-related projects in Asia through the Asian Development Bank (ADB), supporting knowledge transfer and capacity-building for climate-related programs in the region. It will help enhance ADB's climate-related capacity, share climate-related policies and knowledge, and play a leading role in future Asia and global climate discussions. This establishment of K-CETN marks a further development in cooperation between Korea and ADB, and will contribute to presenting a future vision and solidarity for the Asia-Pacific region that faces urgent challenges in global economy, digital roadmap, and climate change adaptation.
